THIS POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN WINSTON-SALEM.

LPN or RN to supervise the clinical and clerical staff of a small specialty practice. Responsibilities will include: Assists in interview / selection of clinical and clerical staff.  Oversees and implements all compliance regulations and requirements. Manages clinical/clerical staff problems requiring immediate intervention. Coaches and counsels staff. Assures completion of required credentialing / skills validation for competency assessment, ensures compliance with organizational policy and procedure. Facilitates continuing education efforts for clinical team members and participates in or delegates orientation of new staff. Provides on-going feedback regarding performance and improvement opportunities to team members. Delegates or assigns aspects of patient care. Provides age-specific care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting needs/action taken/patient responses. Identifies patient learning needs, incorporates into care by providing education and counsel to patients, and documents patient understanding.  Responsible for ensuring that all safety, HIPAA and JCAHO guidelines and requirements are met. Assists with other duties both clinical and administrative as assigned by the Practice Manager. May also fill in during nursing shortages.  Must have excellent customer service skills and communication skills.  Graduate of an accredited nursing program. LPN or RN currently licensed in the state of NC. CPR certification. A minimum of one year leadership experience preferred. Minimum of two years experience with patient assessment in a medical office setting. Previous supervisory/leadership experience desired. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS; Light Work - Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including the human body, weighing 11-20 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount of weight constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time). Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work: (1) when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or (2) when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or (3) when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN DURHAM, NC.  


Responsible for pulling and refiling charts for a busy family practice. Filing of reports, triage notes and miscellaneous information in charts in an accurate and timely fashion. Must be willing to be cross-trained in other clerical areas of the practice to include greeting patients, check-in, check-out, scheduling appointments and entering patient demographic and insurance information into the computer. High school graduate or equivalent required. Previous medical record experience and medical office experience preferred. Medical Manager experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills are required as well as good customer service skills and computer knowledge. Applicant must be detail-oriented and energetic as well as a team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT; Sedentary Work - lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, including the human body, weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of weight frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time). Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
