Novant Medical Group Forsyth physicians are employees of the health system. There is no partnership opportunity. All of our physicians receive a base salary with an opportunity to earn an incentive payment. We offer a flexible benefits program where employees are provided with benefits dollars which may be used to purchase a variety of benefits such as medical, dental, life, short and long term disability and accidental death and dismemberment coverage. In addition, you may set up a healthcare and/or dependent day care account. Many of these benefits are paid with pre-tax payroll deductions. The Retirement Plus Plan allows you to make pre-tax and after-tax contributions to a 403 (b) account. After one year of service, Novant Health matches $1 for every $1 the employee contributes, up to 3% of pay. In addition, with our defined contribution retirement benefit, Novant Health makes a contribution to the employee's account based on current base salary and years of service. Novant Medical Group Forsyth offers continuing medical education expense reimbursement for expenses such as attendance at seminars, books and journal subscriptions, professional associates dues and specialty board examination fees. Time off varies depending on physician's work schedule and the number of years the physician has been out of residency. We provide a moving expense reimbursement of up to $10,000 and offer a student loan repayment program. Physicians must be Board Certified (or, if just completing residency, Board Eligible). Cardiology - Heart Failure Director
Our 16-physician cardiology group is looking for an additional invasive/non-invasive cardiologist to join our well-established practice as the Director of the Heart Failure Program at Forsyth Medical Center. Primary responsibilities for the Director include managing heart failure patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and promoting the growth and referral base of the Program in the community. This established Heart Failure Program is staffed with a Nurse Practitioner and a Heart Failure cardiologist. The Program offers the ability to participate in exercise testing, research protocols and advanced therapies. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. Endocrinology
This 4-physician and one nurse practitioner practice is looking for a full-time endocrinologist to meet growing patient demand. The position is 100% Endocrinology with no ER call and no internal medicine call. Inpatient consults are light and are rotated a week at a time. We are looking for a board certified/board eligible obstetrician/gynecologist to join our growing practice in Lexington, NC. We offer colposcopy, ultrasound, urogynecology, and advanced laparoscopic surgery. We do not do abortions. The practice consists of one physician and one midwife.
